Getting the Dirt Off Your Home

Dirt, grime and mildew can collect on your home's siding. If not cleaned, these factors can cause costly repairs, renovations or replacements. These contaminants are removable without using excessive water pressure. Whether you have a 1 or 3 story home, we will have your home looking new again. With our special equipment, we can reach the top of any sized home. We clean houses in the Charlotte and surrounding area from top to bottom using low pressure and soft washing techniques that will not damage or etch the exterior of your home.

Vinyl siding and stucco are two of the most delicate materials we clean. Safely cleaning these requires a process which we refer to as “soft washing.” This process utilizes cold water and very specific cleaning agents that do all the work rather than high pressure. These detergents are applied at 600-800 PSI. Our cleaning detergents have surfactants and rinse aids just like your dishwasher soaps.

Brick is obviously a much harder and durable material than siding. For this reason, when needed, we can use higher pressure. Dirt and algae collect here just like anywhere else. The only difference with brick that it is much more porous, thus allowing algae to go deeper than just the surface. Similar to washing siding, we would first apply a cleaning agent and let sit, but rinse with a much higher pressure than aforementioned.

If the vinyl sealing on your home's siding is over 5 years old, its barrier could be breaking down due to UV light and atmospheric conditions. Is your vinyl faded, discolored, or chalky? If so, that is oxidation breaking down the exterior of your vinyl. We can restore the appearance of your siding with our special vinyl gloss enhancer and surface sealant. When applied, this product impregnates the vinyl with silicone, polymer and hardeners. It also has a mold/mildew formation retardant in it that forms a protective shell against the elements.

Have you ever seen black streaks on your gutters? If so, it may very well be time for getting gutter streak removal service from us. Most people think its mold and mildew from the moisture that accumulates on gutters. While some of it may indeed be mold, there is usually a black film or distinct black stripes (called zebra stripes) caused from the tar and asphalt in roofing shingles. This electrostatically bonds to the outside of the gutter, while at the same time pollution and dirt build up on the surface. When moisture combines with these pollutants, it streams down the face of the gutter building up over time. Gutters require regular maintenance to prevent the normal buildup of soil deposits and oxide accumulations. This stain must be treated with special cleaners to break the electrostatic bond.

Low-Pressure Roof Washing

Your roof needs to breathe. Ever see those black streaks on asphalt shingles? This is known as roof algae, called Gloeocapsa Magma. It will cause hot spots on the roof where sun and heat aren't able to be properly reflected. If not treated, it will only get worse over time. Algae likes to thrive on the north side of roofs where the proper amount of shade is present. It feeds on the crushed limestone that is used in asphalt shingles, literally eating away at your roof. Rain spreads the algae down the roof causing unsightly black streaks. Eventually, the algae will take over the entire roof. We can kill and remove the algae using contractor-grade cleaners and low pressure, which will make your roof look new again. In fact, 1/3 of roofs are replaced prematurely due to algae decay.

Concrete Cleaning and Paver Cleaning

Having your driveway cleaned along with a house wash is a great way to increase curb appeal. A lot of people don't realize how dirty their driveways, sidewalks and patios actually are, and are amazed by the difference once cleaned.

Cleaning Decks and Wood Restoration

Wood restoration is one of the most misunderstood processes. Wood is soft and can be easily damaged with too much water pressure. A lot of factors determine which deck cleaner we will use to restore the wood. Once we choose the correct cleaners, we wash the wood with the right amount of pressure. We then use a neutralizing process to prepare the wood to be sealed. Incorrectly prepared wood is the number one reason why a sealer fails. After the wood dries to the proper moisture level, we then apply a contractor grade sealer.
